Upro Go worked well for a couple of rounds. It started blinking and screeen became unstable for a few minutes. This happened many times and I returned it back to Amazon. I spent $50 on getting all the courses and I can’t recover that money.

I had been using the Skycaddie SG5 for the last 4 years and it died. I looked at different gps and settled on the Upro Go because a friend had one. It works very well and I am enjoying it. I rate it better than the SG5. DO NOT PAY for the fast shipment with Amazon because they do not deliver on time. Save the money and use standard or free shipping. Shame on you Amazon.

I believe this one had a bad battery as it never charged properly and would work for 10 minutes…if I could get it to work at all. I finally sent it back and got a golf app for my Blackberry. I find the phone app much more usable. And, after all, how much “caddy” does one need? Well, I don’t need anything in color.
My golf buddies were wowed for the 10 minutes that it worked. It is a pretty cool gadget. The phone app works just as well for me. It works better because I can get the phone app to work. The Callaway Golf uPro is the right size and has cool graphics, but I couldn’t get it to work, had trouble turning it on and it wouldn’t take or keep a charge.

Love it! Accurate to within 3 yards. Really helps club selection. No annual fee. Can get two rounds before recharging battery.

Overall this GPS is worth the price I paid for it. It isn’t as expensive as other GPS systems but it gives the same information as the others. The only problems I have had in the 3 weeks I have owned this is 2 courses that I have played have not worked. It has taken 2 emails and 2 phone calls to the support staff to fix one of the courses. I am still waiting on the other.
